Deoband Yoruba Collaborative Project

The Deoband Yoruba Collaborative Project (also known as DYCP) is a collaborative project between the Deoband Community Wikimedia and the Yoruba Wikimedians User Group (YWUG), a recognized user-group affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation.

DYCP is based on two distinct themes. It aims to have knowledge related to themes supported by the DCW documented on Yoruba Wikipedia, and at the same time, help document knowledge related to themes supported by the Yoruba Wikimedians User Group, on Urdu language Wikipedia. DYCP was initiated in July 2021, and since then, DCW and its collaborator YWUG, conducts one iteration of this project every year.
