The Deoband Community Wikimedia is dedicated to contributing and shaping the global open knowledge movement, envisioning a world where every person has free and easy access to the sum of all human knowledge. Our vision centres on authentically representing global Muslim academia, history, culture, heritage and scholarship across diverse platforms, and particularly within the Wikimedia Foundation projects. As a Wikimedia Foundation affiliate, we closely align with the Foundation's vision statement:
In order to achieve our goal, we closely work with the vision and mission of the Wikimedia Foundation, which hosts the famous online free encyclopedia, Wikipedia.
