The '''DCW Board''' was idealised in our [[:meta:Deoband Community Wikimedia/Activity plans/Half-Yearly Strategic plan for October 2024 - March 2025|October 2024 - March 2025]], for which we conducted surveys during November 2024, and subsequently decided on the requirements in the [[DCW Progress Prism January 2025]]. The first board will be elected prior to 31st March 2025, will have a total of eight members: five voting and three non-voting. The three non-voting seats are reserved for the representatives of our Wiki Clubs, and one-voting seat is reserved for the Founder. The board members are expected to be aware of Universal Code of Conduct, the Affiliate Structure, and the aspects affecting the healt of Deoband Community Wikimedia. The board members meet once in every four months to discuss on the challenges and appropriate solutions. Given that the board decisions are binding, the members are expected to be aware of any latest trends in the ecosystem. | |||
