Since then, I’ve actively worked on engaging youth, especially Muslim women and students, in Wikimedia projects like Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikisource. Hello!
I’m Sana Sabir, a volunteer with Deoband Community Wikimedia and the founding lead of Wiki Club AMU. My journey with the Wikimedia movement began with designing graphics for DCW, which gradually introduced me to the larger mission of free knowledge and community building.
Since then, I’ve actively worked on engaging youth, especially Muslim women and students, in Wikimedia projects like Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikisource. I’m passionate about creating inclusive spaces and bridging knowledge gaps through collaboration and storytelling.
