DCW Board Elections are held every three years to appoint four members to the DCW Board, which consists of five voting members and three non-voting advisory members. Aafi, the founder of the Deoband Community Wikimedia holds a permanent seat on the board, while the non-voting advisory members are appointed from Wiki Clubs operating under the DCW umbrella. Through this election process, four community members (two male and two female) are elected to serve a three-year term on the DCW Board.

  • Prior experience in leadership or management roles is preferred.
  • The candidate must hold at least an undergraduate degree.
  • The candidate must not be blocked on any Wikimedia projects at the time of the election.
