Wikiquote is a free online compendium of sourced notable quotations. We invite you all to contribute towards improving Wikiquote content throughout this month, and stand a chance to win prizes

How you can contribute

• Add new quotations for notable authors, books, films, historical figures, scientists, poets, politicians, etc.
• Create new pages for personalities or works that do not yet exist on Wikiquote.
• Improve citations, ensuring every quote has accurate sources.
• Expand stub pages with additional quotes and biography/context.
• Add translations (e.g., provide English equivalents for Urdu/Hindi quotes or vice versa).
• Categorize pages under suitable themes (e.g., “philosophy,” “peace”). • Correct inaccuracies or remove unsourced quotes.

• First: 2500
• Second: 1900
• Third: 1500
• Fourth: 800
• Fifth: 800

Prizes will be provided in the form of gift cards/vouchers.
