The Deoband Community Wikimedia (DCW) was established on 31 July 2021, and convened as a Wikimedia Foundation affiliate on 16 January 2022. Over the years, DCW has significantly contributed to the open knowledge ecosystem and gained a significant representation at several Wikimedia spaces. However, as we continue growing, we ask our community members to come forward and lead the decision-making processes, and make a difference!
