DCW Board Elections

'''DCW Board Elections''' are held every three years to appoint four members to the [[DCW Board]], which consists of five voting members and three non-voting advisory members. {{u|Aafi}}, the founder of the Deoband Community Wikimedia holds a permanent seat on the board, while the non-voting advisory members are appointed from Wiki Clubs operating under the DCW umbrella. Through this election process, four community members (two male and two female) are elected to serve a three-year term on the DCW Board.
==Requirements==
To qualify as a candidate for the Board Elections, candidates must meet the following basic criteria:
* The candidate should have a fair understanding of the Wikimedia ecosystem and our [[Vision & Objectives|vision statement]], and must have contributed at least 100 volunteer edits. 
* Prior experience in leadership or management roles is preferred. 
* The candidate must hold at least an undergraduate degree. 
* The candidate must not be blocked on any Wikimedia projects at the time of the election.
